Sew Days - Come Join The Fun!

You may not have heard about the Sewing Revolution that is sweeping the nation so I thought I would let you in on it! Wish Upon A Quilt has joined the cause to pass on our love of sewing to anyone that wants to give it a try! Won't you join us?

The Sewing Revolution was inspired by Scott Fortunoff, President of Jaftex, and Sew Days was born. Coordinated by Karen Montgomery of The Quilt Company and Laurie Harsh of The Fabric Shop Network, 166 quilt shops across the nation are having fun with Sew Days!

What exactly is Sew Days and how can you get involved?

At Wish Upon A Quit, we are offering beginning sewers a class for $5 to come in and give sewing a try. We provide all of the tools they need, so they can see if they like sewing before they invest in tools. Project kits are available and in just a couple of hours students leave class with a completed project. These cute tote bags were last week's project.

Students go home with a FREE project pattern, so they can make more on their own. Each week we work on a different project. This week will be a cute tea towel apron. Register here.

    How can you help?

Spread the word to your friends! Do have friends that love your sewing skills and say "I wish I could do that?"...send them in and we will have them sewing in no time. We all know how much sewing adds to our lives, let's spread the word and share the joy!

On this page, http://wishuponaquilt.com/blog/sew-days-come-join-the-fun/, it states the beginner sewing classes are $5, but on the event page, it states $15. Which is correct?
