    • Summer Fun! with Row by Row Experience

Do you know about Row by Row Experience? We are thrilled to be participating in the largest shop hop in the world! That's right, you can visit over 2500 quilt shops all over the world and pick up a free row pattern just for stopping in. Click here to see the map of them all!

This year, we are participating with 7 other shops that are in the greater Raleigh area by offering you this beautiful coordinated quilt!

All of the shops have kits available with pre-cut and fused laser pieces so assembly is quick and easy.

Our row is the one with "fins to the left" and "fins to the right" and as a scuba diver, I just love our row. It makes me want to jump into the ocean! If you can't make it to Raleigh and want to pre-order our kit, please click here. Kits will be available for shipping beginning November 1st, 2018.

We have also created a bench pillow from our row kit in case you don't have time to make the entire quilt, but want to celebrate summer with a fun pillow.

We have finishing kits available in the shop and used "A Kimberbell Summer, Vol 1" to embellish our pillow using free-standing appliques.

We also have a fun photo booth in the store for you to enjoy and enter to win gift certificates all summer long. Stop by, take your picture in the photo booth and use the hashtag #wishfins to be entered to win.

We look forward to your visits to the store this summer and appreciate your support of our independent business.

    • May's Y Not? BOM is ready

It's May and another block in the Y Not? Block of the Month program is available. We have another fun mosaic.

Batik participants be careful with the placement of your fabrics. The light green is your background and the dark green is your frame. Don't pair the dark green with your accent green pieces. Keep referring back to the finished block image so you don't get the pieces turned around. Continue reading

    • Cameron Village Library Quilt Group

We recently sponsored 10 new hand quilters at the Cameron Village Library. One of our great customers, Clare Bass, approached me about the idea a couple of months ago. She would do the teaching and Wish Upon A Quilt would supply the fabrics. It is so fun to share our passion of quilting with new people and from the looks of these photos, they are off to a great start! Have you shared your love of quilting with a newbie lately? Tell us about it!
