This is the finest of the Mako threads. The long staple Mako cotton is very smooth, and strong. It is the favorite thread for detailed machine quilting. We recommend the Cotton Mako 50/2 for fine detailed machine quilting, to prevent bulky thread build up when you are stitching micro stipple. It is also perfect for invisible ditch stitching, as the thread disappears into the valley between the seams. We recommend that you try Cotton Mako 50/2 in the bobbin when you want the back of your work to be color matched when quilting. 1422 yards (1300 mt)
